For more 50 years, the First Apostolic Church of Lompoc has been making and selling the best homemade peanut brittle, named Grandma Ruth’s Homemade Peanut Brittle after the late Sis. Ruth Sickler, when her daughter won “attendees favorite” award at Taste of Solvang in 2018, Grandma Ruth was a faithful member who lead the peanut brittle crew for many years.
The First Apostolic Church Ladies Auxiliary usually takes orders for this delicious, old-fashioned, homemade peanut brittle, in October, and early December. The peanut brittle currently sells for $10. per bag which contains approximately a half-pound of peanut brittle.
