Pastor Dell Rose becomes Bishop
of The First Apostolic Church of Lompoc

Lompoc, California — In February of 1970, Reverend Dell Rose and along with his wife, Dorothy Jo, founded The First Apostolic Church of Lompoc, and remarkably, continued to pastor the local church for the next 50 years.

Ministerial Hall of Fame

Bishop Dell Rose was officially inducted into the Apostolic Ministerial Hall of Fame, Apostolic Archives International, Inc., Joplin, Missouri, at 1:30 PM, Saturday, May 23, 2020, during the 50th Anniversary Celebration of The First Apostolic Church of Lompoc, 921 North “O” Street, Lompoc, California.

Pastor Dell Rose became the Bishop of The First Apostolic Church of Lompoc in May of 2020, passing the Pastorate on to one of his assistants, James Ball.

New Pastor James Ball

James Ball became the new pastor of The First Apostolic Church of Lompoc on May 18, 2020. A member of the local church since 1971 and one of the pastor’s assistants and a lay minister for more than 30 years, he was installed as the new pastor on May 23, 2020, after Bishop Dell Rose was inducted into the Apostolic Archives International Hall of Fame.

Pastor James Ball, served in the US Air Force and continued to work at Vandenberg Air Force Base for another 37 years working in various capacities from missile launch document librarian to cabinet maker for Civil Engineering Squadron. He has been married to his wife, Brenda K. Ball for 47 years.
